Arlene expresses her art through painting with oil paint, oil stick, and watercolor on self-prepared watercolor paper, panel, and canvas.  Rich myriad shades of color come together with the use of brushes and palette knives to compose simple, suggestive, enchanting seascapes with emphasis on the contrast of light and shadow.
